Rebecca Patterson is Chief Investment Officer at Bessemer Trust, managing more than $70 billion worth of high-net-worth family assets and serving as a member of the firm's management committee. Prior to joining Bessemer, Rebecca worked at J.P. Morgan, as Chief Markets Strategist for Asset Management, as Global Head of Foreign Exchange and Commodities for the Private Bank, and as an Investment Banking Research Analyst, based in New York, London and Singapore where she helped central banks and sovereign wealth funds, other institutional clients and high-net-worth families. Prior to J.P. Morgan, she was a journalist in the U.S. and Europe covering financial markets and politics.

Deputy Governor and Chair of GFXC
Dr Guy Debelle commenced as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia on 18 September 2016. He is Deputy Chair of the Reserve Bank Board and Chair of the Reserve Bank's Risk Management Committee. Prior to his current role, Dr Debelle was the Assistant Governor (Financial Markets).
In May 2019, Dr Debelle was appointed Chair of the Global Foreign Exchange Committee (GFXC). Prior to this, he was on the BIS Foreign Exchange Working Group responsible for the development of the Global Code of Conduct for the Foreign Exchange Market as well as Chair of the Australian Foreign Exchange Committee.
Dr Debelle worked at the International Monetary Fund, Bank for International Settlements, Australian Treasury and as a visiting professor in economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He graduated from the University of Adelaide with an honours degree in economics and gained his PhD in economics at MIT under Stanley Fischer and Rudi Dornbusch.

Head of FX Sales Americas
Robert Savage has recently been appointed Head of FX Sales Americas at BNY Mellon. Before landing his recent position at BNY Mellon, Robert formed CCTrack Solutions and was Chief Executive Officer for over 5 years.
Since commencing his career in February of 1996 as the FX Trading Head SVP at Lehman Brothers, Savage has gone on to hold a number of notable positions during his 23-year-long career. Most notably COO at FX Concepts and Managing Director of FX Macro Sales at Goldman Sachs, where began to publish widely-read and insightful research focusing on the FX markets and the macroeconomic environment.
Prior to his 11 years with Goldman Sachs, he was the Head of New York Foreign Exchange Trading for Lehman Brothers and a Director of Proprietary Trading at Bank of America Securities, where he worked as a proprietary trader in FX, reporting to Richard Breslow. Other notable positions include Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company and CEO, Editor in Chief & Head of Track Research at Trackresearch.com.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Savage studied at Yale University from 1980 until 1984, earning himself a Bachelor of Political Philosophy.

Jack Callahan has served as Executive Director, OTC Products since April 2011. He is responsible for leading the global go-to-market strategies for CME’s cleared OTC businesses.
Previously he served as Product Manager, Interest Rate Products, where he played a leading role in launching the company’s Interest Rate Swap clearing solution.
Prior to joining CME Group in 2009, Callahan most recently worked for Bank of America as a Derivative Marketer, where he was responsible for structuring and executing interest rate hedging strategies with the bank’s corporate, real estate and private wealth clients.

Ankeet Dedhia is the Head of FX Product, Americas at LCH. In this role he is responsible for leading all products, services and business development efforts within the Americas for LCH’s FX clearing service, ForexClear.
Since joining LCH in 2012, Ankeet has been part of the product team for SwapClear, LCH’s interest rate clearing service, where he facilitated the adoption of regulatory mandates and managed commercial demands from a diverse range of financial institutions.
Prior to joining LCH, Ankeet was a management consultant for Ernst & Young, focused on strategy review and gap analysis related to OTC derivatives regulatory reform. Before this role, he worked at the CME on its futures and OTC risk management team, focused on cross-asset initiatives across FX, interest rates and credit derivatives.
He holds a master’s in finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business and an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Leah Mallas is the Global Head of FX Prime Brokerage and FX Clearing at J.P. Morgan. She has held this position since late 2017 and is responsible for the global product management and development of the business.
A 17 year veteran of the firm, Leah has held a variety of internal roles within the bank managing client service teams, in addition to an external trading management role at Millennium Partners.
Leah holds a Bachelor of Science from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.

John Velis is a member of BNY Mellon Markets' global strategy team and serves as FX and Macro Strategist for the Americas. He leads BNY Mellon's continued investment into North American commentary.
He joined BNY Mellon from State Street in Boston, where he was instrumental in running a Macro Research function that applied proprietary data on investor behaviour, market-risk modelling and real-time inflation analysis to the firm’s client base. Prior to his role as a senior multi-asset strategist at State Street Global Markets, John was based in London and worked at Vanguard Asset Management, Russell Investments and ABN Amro.
He holds a PhD in Applied Economics from Indiana University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
Executive Director, Global Market Strategist
Gabriela D. Santos is an Executive Director, Global Market Strategist on the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Market Insights Strategy Team. In this role, Gabriela is responsible for delivering timely market and economic insights to institutional and retail clients across the U.S. and Latin America.
In addition, Gabriela conducts research on the global economy and capital markets and is responsible for the development of the flagship quarterly Guide to the Markets – Latin America and other publications. Since joining the team, Gabriela has played an instrumental role in the expansion of the Market Insights program in Latin America. Gabriela is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other financial news outlets and is often quoted in the financial press.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Gabriela worked at HSBC’s Private Bank for three years, stationed in Singapore, Switzerland and Mexico. In her role as a banker in Singapore, Gabriela provided strategic advice to High Net Worth European clients on managing their personal and family wealth. Previously, she was a trader on the structured products trading desk in Geneva, Switzerland and helped launch a credit platform in Mexico City, Mexico.
Gabriela graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics, as well as French. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and French and proficient in Spanish.

Arnab Nilim is the head of Currency at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. His team is responsible for currency portfolio management, trading and research for developed and emerging-market currencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Arnab worked at AllianceBernstein over seven years as the Lead Currency Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, he worked in the emerging markets trading division at Citigroup for seven years, where he traded and developed quantitative trading models for nonlinear portfolios composed of currency forwards and derivatives.
Arnab holds a BSc in engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, where he received the prestigious Leon O. Chua Award in 2004 for outstanding achievement in an area of nonlinear science.
Alex Sedgwick is CEO of Fincisive Strategies and has nearly two decades of experience in capital markets and financial technology. He has held a variety of roles focused on adapting to, and capitalizing on, the rapid electronification of global markets.
He was most recently the Head of Fixed Income Market Structure and Electronic Trading at T. Rowe Price where he was responsible for multi-asset electronic trading including the global credit, rates and foreign exchange markets. Alex served as the Chairman of the Fixed Income Best Execution Committee and was a member of the Global Trading Committee.
Prior to his 5-year tenure at T. Rowe Price, Alex spent 7 years at MarketAxess where he held several roles including managing market data operations, trading fixed income ETFs and creating and running the firm’s research department.

An experienced macroeconomist and market strategist, Natalia Gurushina serves as Chief Economist for Van Eck's Emerging Markets Unconstrained Fixed Income Strategy. As part of the firm's investment team, Natalia plays a critical role in providing qualitative and quantitative economic analyses for the firm, with special expertise in the emerging markets arena. Prior to joining Van Eck Global, Natalia worked for Roubini Global Economics (responsible for Emerging Markets Currency/Fixed Income and G10 Currency Strategies). Erik's trading career has spanned 30+ years in the foreign exchange market, at a range of banks and proprietary trading firms, across a spectrum of technological change. From the early days of voice broker and telephone execution in the interbank market to the modern world of sub-microsecond automated market-making, API and algorithmic order execution and risk management, he has faced the many challenges on the bleeding edge of FX.
He began his career at Crocker National Bank in San Francisco as a spot FX dealer, and after 17 years at a variety of banks in NY and Chicago, he left the banking world for the proprietary trading space, holding a succession of positions at DRW Trading, Allston Trading and Wolverine Trading, before a 4-year period consulting into the institutional FX space.
He is currently head of FX at Quadeye Securities, a quantitative trading firm, where he focuses on liquidity and risk management issues while leading a project to build a proprietary trading platform.
Erik attended the Georgetown University Schools of Foreign Service and Business Administration before receiving a BS In Economics at the University of San Francisco, and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Chicago.

Victoria Cumings is the Americas representative of the Global Foreign Exchange Division (GFXD) of the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA). Since its establishment, the GFXD has grown to 24 members, between them accounting for over 90% of the global FX market, and is represented in Europe, North America and Asia. The GFXD works with key regulators, Central Banks and other interested parties to monitor policy and regulatory developments that could affect the FX markets and seeks to ensure the establishment of harmonised regimes and infrastructure to enable an effective market for all participants.
Victoria is responsible for regulatory issues in the Americas and for a number of global GFXD topics, in areas including capital, margin and clearing. Victoria is also a former attorney and has previously held positions at CLS Bank, HSBC, Davis Polk, and McCullough Robertson.
Miquel Noguer Alonso
Miquel is a co-founder at Artificial Intelligence Finance Institute. He is a financial markets practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in asset management. Additionally to his role at AIFI, he is currently Head of Development at Global AI (Big Data Artificial Intelligence in Finance company) and Head on Innovation and Technology at IEF.
He worked for UBS AG (Switzerland) as Executive Director for the last 10 years and previously worked as a Chief Investment Officer and CIO for Andbank from 2000 to 2006.
He is a professor of Big Data in Finance at ESADE and Adjunct Professor at Columbia University teaching Asset Allocation, Big Data in Finance and Fintech. He received an MBA and a Degree in business administration and economics in ESADE (1993).

Dr Arvind Rajan
Head of Global and Macro
Arvind Rajan, PhD, is a Managing Director and Head of Global and Macro at PGIM Fixed Income, heading the FX, Global Bond, Emerging Markets Debt, Investment Strategy and Economic Research teams. In 2015, Mr Rajan served as Adjunct Full Professor at the NYU Stern School of Management. Previously, he was Head of PGIM Fixed Income’s Quantitative Research and Risk Management Group.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2008, Mr Rajan worked at Citigroup, where he had been Co-Head of US Fixed Income Strategy. At Citigroup, He was twice ranked first and once second in the All-American Fixed Income Research poll conducted annually by Institutional Investor magazine. He also co-authored The Structured Credit Handbook, published in 2007.
In 2006, he founded a unit that traded emerging markets and credit instruments as part of Citigroup’s global multi-strategy proprietary trading group. From 2003 to 2006, he was the Global Head of Structured Credit Research and previously Global Head of Emerging Markets Quantitative Research and Strategy for the Fixed Income Division at Salomon Smith Barney.
He joined the Bond Portfolio Analysis group at Salomon Brothers in 1994, after working at AT&T Bell Labs and teaching at Rice University.
He received a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology as well as an MS and PhD in Operations Research from Northwestern University.

Co-Head of ETF Group
Bart Smith is co-Head of the ETF Group at Susquehanna International Group (SIG). As such, he is jointly responsible for several ETF-related activities including oversight of the Firm’s ETF client trading (through SIG affiliate Susquehanna Financial Group, or SFG), global equity portfolio trading (also SFG) and ETF issuer relationships.
Mr. Smith is also Head of Digital Assets and has been leading SIG’s cryptocurrency and digital asset efforts since 2014. In this function, he responsible for exchange trading, OTC trading, direct blockchain investments and working with regulators on the developing market structure.
Prior to his current role, he helped Emerging Global Advisors launch its EGShares lineup of ETFs. Mr. Smith has also worked at AllianceBernstein and UBS in variety of sales and consulting roles.

Anthony Rousseau is Vice President of FX and Digital Assets Product Strategy for State Street Global Markets out of Boston Massachusetts. His team is responsible for supporting global growth by providing business technology solutions for digital transformation.
Anthony has extensive experience from Hedge Fund Trading, FinTech’s to Institutional Sell Side Capital Markets business, which has provided him with a foundation of capital markets, technology skills and knowledge that has impacted global markets structures. He leads multiple global product teams in various aspects of digital transformation and most notably the leader of Global Markets Digital Assets Strategy.
Anthony is a visionary leader with bold foresight on market trends. He often is known for having the ability to “see the forest through the trees” and most prominently known for being an optimist. Arnab Das is Global Market Strategist at Invesco in the EMEA region, based in London, and a member of Invesco’s Global Thought Leadership team. He helps develop and communicate analysis and insight on the global economy and financial markets across asset classes for clients, media, governments and central banks.
He works with Invesco’s investment teams across disciplines and regions and is a member of Invesco’s Global Investor Forum Advisory Council with a focus on global macro and emerging markets. Arnab’s research interests span economic policy, performance and reform; and economic and financial history.
Arnab joined Invesco in 2015 as Head of EM macro research for Invesco Fixed Income. He began his career in finance in 1992, and has served as Co-head of Economic Research & Strategy at Roubini Global Economics; Co-head of Global Economics & Strategy, Head of Global FX Research, and Head of EM Economics & Strategy at Dresdner Kleinwort; and Head of EEMEA Research at JP Morgan. He has also been a private consultant in global and emerging markets, as well as consulting with Trusted Sources, a specialist EM research boutique.
Arnab’s studies were in macroeconomics, economic history and international political economy. He received an AB from Princeton University in 1986 and completed his postgraduate and doctoral work at the London School of Economics in 1987-1992.

Roosevelt Bowman is responsible for foreign exchange (FX) trading and strategy at MetLife Investment Management. In this role, he oversees currency risk across various business lines using derivative strategies. Bowman also forecasts FX rates to guide corporate investment decisions, and he provides macroeconomic analysis to support the firm’s cross-asset research for institutional clients.
Prior to joining MetLife, Bowman was responsible for developing global fixed income and FX strategies for institutional clients at U.S. Bank Wealth Management. He also provided econometric research to support capital markets forecasting and asset allocation. Roosevelt has almost 20 years of investment management and monetary policy experience.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2012, Roosevelt was an associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he helped shape monetary policy by providing fixed income, foreign exchange and macroeconomic research to senior Federal Reserve officials. Before U.S. Bank, Bowman was the lead global bond trader for Lehman Brothers Asset Management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and a master’s degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Michael O'Brien is a Vice President of Eaton Vance Management and Director of Global Trading, overseeing a team responsible for best execution of all trades for the Global Fixed Income department as well as other foreign exchange spot and hedging trades for other Eaton Vance investment teams.
In addition, he is responsible for trading-related research and broker-dealer relationships for the Global Fixed Income department.

Nathaniel Polachek is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Commodity Asset Management. Nate began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. as a derivatives and options trader. Subsequently, Nate held leadership roles at multiple distinguished asset managers, including Bridgewater Associates and AQR Capital Management.
He serves on the board of the Washington Heights and Inwood Community Council, as well as on the Mount Sinai Investment Advisory Committee. Outside of investing, Nate utilizes multifactor statistical models to forecast NASCAR race outcomes and has ranked in the top 1% worldwide. Nate is Series 3, 7, 24, 55, and 63 licensed.

Senior Strategist – Global Macro, Rates & Foreign Exchange
Anne N. Mathias is the Rates & FX Strategist in the Vanguard Fixed Income Group, with a focus on global macro, interest rates, and foreign currency. She is a member of the 6-person investment committee (the “Hub”) for the active taxable fixed income funds. She is responsible for analyzing interest rates, currency valuations, economic developments, and political risks and making longer-term strategic investments in sovereign bonds and related securities across Vanguard’s active fixed income funds.
Before joining Vanguard in 2017, Ms. Mathias was the senior macro strategist for Guggenheim Partners Investment Management in Los Angeles, working alongside the firm’s Chief Investment Officer. She also spent an earlier part of her career on the sell side as research director and corporate tax policy analyst for an Institutional Investor ranked Washington Research team. Ms. Mathias spent the first part of her career in emerging markets private equity investing and emerging markets management consulting.
Ms. Mathias earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in international affairs from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. She is a CFA® charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute.

Brad J. Bailey is a Research Director, Capital Markets at industry analyst firm Celent, based in New York. Chris Hehmeyer is the Founder and CEO of Hehmeyer Trading + Investments, a trading and investment firm that is made up of four divisions: Proprietary Trading, Capital Management, Crypto, and Futures Customers.
Prior to that, Chris was founder and CEO of HTG Capital, the predecessor firm to HTI. From his start in 1977 as a runner on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade, Chris has been, and done, just about everything there is to do in the world of trading: runner, back office, floor broker, floor trader, clearing futures commission merchant, and CBOT full member. Chris was one of the founding partners of Goldenberg Hehmeyer & Co and was a managing director of Virginia Trading Corporation from 1981 until the establishment of the GHCO partnership in 1984. When GHCO sold to Penson Worldwide in 2007, Hehmeyer became the CEO of Penson GHCO.
Chris has served on over 40 committees of various exchange and clearing organizations and was a past Chairman of the Board of the National Futures Association. Currently, Chris serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Integritas Financial Consulting and is a member of the board of directors of the Futures Industry Association (FIA), where he has served in several capacities, including vice-chairman of the board.
This year, Chris was recognized for his sustained excellence by being inducted into the FIA’s Futures Hall of Fame, being the only CEO of a principal trading group to do so. Throughout his career, Chris developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the complexities of the industry. He understands the intensity, intellect, intuition, and innovation that is required for traders to succeed.

Ryan Chin is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2015. As a member of the Multi-Asset US team, he focusses on the firm’s dynamic multi-asset strategies.
Ryan is an experienced portfolio manager with a proven track record of alpha generation in fixed income, multi-asset, and asset allocation portfolios with an emphasis on global macroeconomic fundamental analysis in equities, G10 rates, volatility, and currencies. He is Co-Manager of the AllianzGI Target Date series (40 Act and CIT Series), and Global Dynamic Allocation funds, plus a variety of other balanced institutional mandates, and Co-Manager of the Multi-Asset Income Fund, a multi-asset offering focused on high and sustainable income generation.
Prior to joining Allianz, he was a government bond trader and a fixed-income derivatives trader in charge of US interest rate swaps at Scotiabank for 10 years.
Ryan has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and accounting (first class honors with distinction) from Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, Canada (1996 & 2000). He is also a CFA charter holder and holds the FINRA series 3, 7 and 63 licenses and was a 2018 Lipper Fund Award Winner for Mixed Assets Group.

Javier Paz is the founder and managing director of Forex Datasource, a U.S. research and advisory firm. Past institutional advisory experience at Credit Suisse First Boston, BankBoston, and Aite Group.
Mr Paz also served as head of institutional sales at FX broker Interbank FX. Author of more than 50 FX and capital markets reports, he is a regular subject matter expert for financial press articles on areas of expertise. These include trends in FX volume across FX products and methods of execution, OTC industry microstructure, distributed ledger technology in capital markets, and leveraged trading across asset classes and geographies.
Eight years and running, Mr Paz is the most tenured judge for the annual FX Week eFX awards.
Founder and CEO
Gil is Founder and CEO of Capitolis. He is a serial entrepreneur and CEO in financial technology. He has a successful record of creating disruptive products and companies and leading them through global scaling.
Prior to Capitolis, Gil was CEO of EBS BrokerTec, NEX Group’s (formerly ICAP’s) foreign exchange and fixed income Electronic Markets business. He also served as a member of ICAP’s Global Executive Management Group.
Before EBS-BrokerTec, Gil was CEO of Traiana, a post-trade processing company he founded in 2000. He led Traiana’s growth from a small start-up to a recognized global leader, resulting in Traiana’s acquisition by ICAP in 2007 for $250M. A Kellogg business school business case study was written about Gil and the Traiana story.
Gil has been a member of the New York Federal Reserve’s Foreign Exchange Committee, the Bank of England’s Joint Standing Committee, and the Bank of Canada’s Foreign Exchange Committee. He was awarded the e-FX achievement award by FX Week in 2012 in recognition of his lasting contribution to the development of the FX industry, and in 2013 he was inducted to Profit & Loss Magazine’s Hall of Fame. In 2015 and 2016, Gil was named to Institutional Investor’s prestigious Trading Technology 40.
He holds a BA in Management and Sociology from Tel Aviv University (Magna Cum Laude) and an MBA (With Distinction) from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. In 2012, Gil was the Keynote speaker at the Graduation Ceremony at INSEAD.

Philippe C. Burke is a Portfolio Manager at Apache Capital Management, an NYC based asset management company with an emphasis on quantitative and machine learning assisted strategies.
Prior to Apache Capital, Philippe was a Principal and head of Global Leveraged Strategies at Morgan Stanley (1997-98). Philippe joined Morgan from Lehman Brothers where he was an SVP (1991-97) and held the positions of Proprietary Trader, Head Derivative Strategist, Senior Structured Bond Trader, and Head of Structured Swaps during his tenure.
Philippe has an MSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics and an MBA (Finance) with honours from the University of Chicago.

Asif is an experienced FX Algo Trader who has over 15 years of experience in developing electronic trading platforms. He has a MSc in Artificial Intelligence and has joined BNP Paribas from Citi, where he worked on various initiatives including eFX pricing engines and algorithmic trading. Utilising his experience in artificial intelligence, he has developed and launched Cortex iX (Intelligent eXecution) - a cutting edge FX algorithmic execution platform that has been highly acclaimed by clients and industry experts globally.

Phil founded Matzliach Capital to share his deep financial markets and derivatives industry experience around the building and growing successful businesses. He is a recognized at leading companies through successive stages of corporate development from start-up ideation to attracting strategic investors and capital raising from the private equity community, from acquisitions and a public offering to a company sale, merger integration and turn around.
Phil founded FXall, the leading business-to-business foreign exchange platform, that grew to $125 million in revenues with 1,300+ customers and a team of 150 employees across five continents with margins of almost 50%. Phil led FXall’s successful IPO and subsequent sale to Thomson Reuters, where he ran the combined multi-billion dollar FX, rates and credit business. He integrated FXall into Thomson Reuters FX, Rates and Credit business while modernizing the product portfolio into a powerful, consolidated offering combining data and analytics, order management and execution capabilities.
Phil has been widely sought out for his market knowledge, actively participating in industry working groups including the FX Committees of the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and Bank of England, UK FCA Fair and Effective Markets review, CFTC Global Markets Advisory Subcommittee on NDF Clearing, and FX Global Code Market Participants Group of the BIS.
He was instrumental in successfully navigating foreign exchange’s transition to a regulated over-the-counter (OTC) market by proactively shaping financial regulatory reform and launching a Swaps Execution Facility (SEF) for Thomson Reuters and won wide recognition with #1 placement in Euromoney’s annual Survey of Electronic Trading Platforms for over ten years, inclusion in Institutional Investor’s Trading Technology Top 40 and Profit and Loss magazine’s Hall of Fame. He began his career as Managing Director, Global FX Derivatives Trading at JP Morgan in London and NY.
Phil received a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union and an MBA in Finance and International Business from NYU. He also has supported philanthropic causes as a Board Member at the Tisch MS Research Center, Member of the President’s Council of The Cooper Union, and Board Member of Park East Day School.
